Special wood shredder with integrated subsequent crushing as a supplement to the "GTA/FRP" including conveyor units

The frame laths already pressed on the long sides in the FRP frame press are shredded to chips in the wood shredder. An integrated metal separator sorts out the FE parts. The inclined conveyor belt transports the chips to a 30 m¾ container.

The machine is designed to shred the frame laths of old wooden windows in combination with the window frame press (FRP). Frame laths of other materials, e.g. plastic or aluminium, may not be fed into this machine. Other materials than those stated above must be tested and approved by the manufacturer. Solid, massive objects of iron, steel, concrete, stone, rubble etc. may not be crushed. Unsuited materials along with hazardous materials are to be sorted out before shredding and disposed of separately.

However, it must also be stated that the shredder reacts insensitively to fitted window hardware/structures within the threshold values described overleaf. The shredder is not designed for exclusive processing of metal.

Threshold values for window hardware/structures of metal (general construction steel per DIN 17 100):

for round steel:	diameter = 10 mm
for flat steel:	breadth = 20 mm, thickness = 5 mm
for rectangular steel:	edge length = 10 mm

In addition, the shredder can also be fitted with an integrated subsequent crushing device, which produces chips 30 mm in length and reduces pollution.

The unit is designed for single-shift operation, with an average throughput of about 300 - 500 windows per day in automatic operation with standard factory settings and corresponding logistics of the operator resulting, depending upon the size of the windows (in single-shift operation).
